There is no such thing as a “typical” prosthesis. At Rogerson Orthopedic,
every prosthesis is as unique as the patient. Fit, finish, and quality are
our highest priorities in prosthetic fabrication. Some aspects of our prosthetics:
- Ultra-light weight materials and durable construction, ie: carbon fiber, Titanium, & Aluminum
- Customized cosmetic finish
- Patient specific componentry including appropriate foot, socket, & suspension
- Patient education regarding limb and prosthesis management
At Rogerson Orthopedic every patient receives a comprehensive evaluation including:
- Evaluation of health status and history, limb strength, gait, range of motion, physical
activity level, home living environment, employment type, leisure activities and future goals.
- Review and selection of appropriate componentry according to strength and function: i.e. foot
dynamics and socket selection.
- Introduction of check socket and prototype prosthesis for testing and practice in out gait lab.
- Fabrication of custom definitive prosthesis is designed to meet all needs of wearer.
- On-going follow-up contact to assure proper fit and function of prosthesis and patient satisfaction.
